How to Determine the Number of CPU Cores?
On Windows 7, you can determine how many CPU cores you have by following these steps :
- My Computer (Right-Click) / Properties
- Select : Device Manager
- Open the Processors group
- Count how many processors are listed.
- Use this number for the renderFrameThreads preference setting.
Configuration
Where is my ROOT Folder?
The ROOT folder is the location of the application's main preference folders and configuration.
It is defined in the environment variable :
PRODUCT_ROOT_VXXXX_X
where :
- PRODUCT is NUCODA, PHOENIX, LOKI or BIFROST
- XXXX_X is the version as MAJOR_MINOR e.g. 2013_3
By default, the ROOT folder is a folder like :
C:\Nucoda\2013_3\root
