BL and AUX Segments

 

BL and AUX segments will conform automatically via an EDL. You can also manually splice BL or AUX segments using the keyboard :

 

•	BL SHIFT + CTRL + b (or v)</br>

•	AUX CTRL + ALT + b (or v)</br>

 

The actual black-level value used by BL will be taken from the project setting.

 

The AUX colour will be taken from the general.prefs preference file and will be set once on project creation.

 

The general.prefs setting for AUX colour is auxColour and defaults to black. Parameters are given for red, green and blue where values are 0.0 to 1.0.

 

BL and AUX segments are never active (blue). As a result of this, you cannot start a colour dynamic on these segments,  only end on one.
